What the model leaves out
Messages are converted at 1 credit each — exact for Plan Mode, roughly the middle of Lovable's published Default Mode examples (0.5 to 1.7). Free is 5 build credits a day, up to 30 a month. Paid plans also get 5 daily build credits that don't roll over (up to about 150 a month if you build every day; some regional plans cap them at 30); the model leaves them out, so it overstates cost for daily builders. Plans are not per seat: workspaces have unlimited members sharing one credit pool, so there is no seats rate. Top-ups on Pro are $15 per 50 credits ($0.30 each). Business (same credit tiers at about twice the price, adds SSO and team features) is left out. Annual billing is about 16% cheaper ($21/month for 100 credits).
- Credits per message vary with task complexity in Default Mode (Lovable's examples run from 0.5 to 1.7 credits); only Plan Mode is a flat 1 credit per message.
- The same credit balance also pays for hosting apps on Lovable Cloud and for AI features in your apps once the included monthly grants (20 Cloud credits, 4 AI credits) are used.
- Monthly plan credits expire two months after they're issued; top-up credits last 12 months; daily build credits expire at the end of each day.
- Credits are priced higher on Business ($50 for 100 credits) than Pro for the same allowance.
