What the model leaves out
Transactional emails (the /emails API; inbound emails count too). Free is also limited to 100 emails a day. Overage needs pay-as-you-go turned on and is billed in buckets of 1,000. Scale 100k ($90) is omitted — same volume as Pro 100k at a higher price, with more features. Above 3M/month is Enterprise (contact sales). Monthly billing only.
Before you commit
- Overage only works if you turn on pay-as-you-go; otherwise you're asked to upgrade when you hit the limit.
- Inbound emails count toward the transactional quota.
- Free is also capped at 100 emails a day.
- Dedicated IPs ($30/month) are only for Scale customers sending over 3,000 emails a day.
