What the model leaves out
US standard rate for domestic cards. Add 1.5% for international cards, 1% if currency conversion is needed, and 0.5% for manually entered cards. Stripe Billing (subscriptions) is 0.7% of billing volume on top. Rates differ by country (the page is geo-redirected). No monthly fee; volume discounts on custom pricing.
Before you commit
- Refunds don't return the original transaction's processing or currency conversion fees.
- Subscriptions through Stripe Billing add 0.7% of billing volume.
- Each card dispute incurs a dispute fee, plus a second fee if you counter it manually, refunded only if you win.
