What the model leaves out
Hosted plans. Events also count uptime checks, performance transactions and release-file storage, not just errors. Over quota, GlitchTip throttles gradually and blocks fully at 2× — there's no overage billing. Annual billing discount on request. Open source and free to self-host (server costs yours).
Before you commit
- Events count error occurrences, uptime checks, performance transactions and each MB of release-file storage.
- Past your quota GlitchTip throttles 10% of events, increasing gradually until it blocks everything at 2x the quota.
- Annual billing discounts are only available by asking support.
