What the model leaves out

Paid is usage-based at $0.0004 per transactional email with a $10 monthly minimum (the $10 is usage credit, i.e. 25,000 emails). Free is also limited to 100 emails a day. Marketing emails are $0.001 each. Open source and self-hostable (it sends through Amazon SES, which you'd pay for directly).
