MailerLite is a hosted email marketing service: you collect subscribers, write newsletters in a drag-and-drop or rich-text editor, and set up automated sequences such as a welcome series. It also builds signup forms, pop-ups, landing pages and simple websites, and can sell digital products, bookings and paid newsletter subscriptions.

Signup forms go on your site through MailerLite's universal JavaScript snippet, loaded from assets.mailerlite.com, plus a short embed code where each form should appear; there are also integrations for WordPress and other platforms. From your own code you use the REST API with an API key, through official SDKs for Node.js, Python, PHP, Go, Ruby and Rust.

A small team gets a free plan with 3 automations, 3 signup forms, one website and one landing page, and community support. Paid plans are priced by subscriber count and add unlimited templates, A/B tests, live chat and email support, paid newsletters and, on the higher plan, unlimited automations and pages.

Every new account has to be approved before it can send; this usually takes minutes but can take longer when MailerLite asks for more information, and lists or past campaigns may be reviewed later. After the 14-day trial you must send from your own authenticated domain. The API allows 120 requests per minute.
