What the model leaves out
The plans include 1,000, 2,000, 5,000 and 10,000 credits a month, and add-on credits cost $0.04 each. The free tier has 50 credits. GovCloud pricing is about 20% higher.
Before you commit
- A credit is a unit of agent work, not a request: complex prompts and spec tasks use more than one, and pricier models burn credits faster (a task on Sonnet 4.6 costs 1.3x the credits of Auto).
- Monthly credits reset each billing month and unused ones don't roll over.
- Add-on credits are bought in packs ($5 to $100) and charged immediately; they roll over but expire 12 months after purchase.
- Each developer needs their own subscription; one can't be shared across a team.
